Lincoln Place Apartment Homes

We looked at a ton of places on the Westside and kept coming back here. There are some really great places out there for the same money if you want to live in one single building with a bunch of other people. Lincoln Place wins when you compare amenities. We're still waiting for "the catch" because it really seems too good to be true. All of the other residents we've met are around our age and extremely cool. The term "dog friendly" rings true here. Community events are awesome. The pool/fitness center could not be better. And that's all without leaving the property. The surrounding area has so much to offer within walking/biking distance.

One bedroom is excellent. My location on the premises is excellent. The location of the complex is very desirable in respect to the position in the city. Very much appreciate the number of security personnel and the job they do. The attitude and demeanor of office staff is very desirable and amiable.

Our apartment had black mold for years, which caused severe health problems for my wife and I. We were not compensated or even acknowledged by Lincoln Place. Not even an apology. If you value your physical or mental health, never move to Lincoln Place or any Aimco property. This company is full of robotic, borderline sociopathic corporate drones who would sooner see you in the hospital than even attempt to treat you equitably. I wish I could give this company zero stars.

Be sure to factor in a few thousand dollars extra for mold inspections and hotel fees if you decide to live here. The Lincoln Place management team has demonstrated an extreme lack of care for the health and safety of their tenants. We had multiple issues throughout our time living here, the worst being a massive black mold infestation throughout our ventilation system. The first time we reported the issue a maintenance worker came and told us to "just wipe down the vents." It wasn't until we came out of pocket for a private mold inspection that they finally fixed it a year later. I developed a cough from breathing the mold in for so long. When they finally decided to fix the mold they ignored for over a year, we had to vacate our apartment for 5 days. Again, we came out of pocket for a hotel room. We were never compensated for the mold inspection, nor the hotel room we were forced to stay in for a week. But what I found the most interesting is that other tenants were also having this issue and one of my neighbors actually reached out to me about a class action lawsuit they were building against Lincoln place for the very same mold problem that had gone ignored. Be sure to factor in a few thousand dollars extra for mold inspections and hotel fees if you decide to live here. Tenants/prospective tenants feel free to reach out to me with any questions. I want everyone to know about this.

I think for future leasing the staff should take into consideration of putting alike people into same structures. i.e. putting families with young children together & putting younger profesionals together. In my specific building a neighbor said they were very upset children moved in above them when every other tenant is in a different demographic. Just a thought.

Lincoln Place is a great place to live. The service has been smooth and efficient since we first viewed the properties right through to signing up, moving in and living here. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. The brand new pool and gym are awesome and we had neighbourhood movie night last week which was good fun. The apartments have been renovated to a high standard and all the appliances are brand new. So far we love living here and would definitely recommend it to others!
