What Renters Like and Dislike About Tahoe City

I like that my sons school and the fire department are right down the street. I also like how central I am to the highway and beaches.

my favorite thing in my neighborhood is the people and the sidewalks and grass for our family and friends

Living in Tahoe City, CA

Sitting on the western edge of Lake Tahoe and on the outskirts of the Tahoe National Forest, Tahoe City is a vibrant and colorful city that features a number of popular events for local apartment residents.

The lake is an integral part of the city's culture and spirit, and numerous events and attractions are tied to this massive body of water. In the summers, apartment residents are frequently drawn to Tahoe City's shores for the town's summer concert series and movie screenings, both of which are held on the beach. Additionally, the city lights up the sky over Lake Tahoe with a magnificent fireworks display each Fourth of July. However even if there isn't an event scheduled, many apartment residents can be found lounging on Tahoe City's beaches on a warm summer day, soaking in the sun and listening as the water rolls in.

Tahoe City apartment residents also kick off the summer season in style with an event that draws visitors from all over the Reno region. The Heart and Solstice Festival occurs each June and features five days of events and celebrations. There are car shows, a farmers market, live concerts and even an annual high school reunion. Apartment residents in Tahoe City also flock to the festival for its wine walk, a popular way to sip samples from local vintners and take scenic walks along Lake Tahoe. There's also plenty of hors d'oeuvres on hand to snack on, and live outdoor music keeps visitors entertained while they enjoy their wine.
