Too Bad Experience on Avalon silicon community, overall maintenance good but once moved out, they send big surprise with huge bill. I stayed two years on this apartment and they billed for all the things...... Staff are too bad they not responded properly for the bill and they asked call to customer care and billing section directly and they give too many explanation but not give proper answer. Totally frustrated.....
I am writing this review to let everyone know about the mental stress I have been dealing with Avalon in the past few weeks. I was going through sleepless nights and having itching problems for quite some time. As there was a bedbug infestation in one of the apartment units in our building few months earlier for which they had done a K9 inspection, I got worried. I started looking around and saw a few bed bugs and thus notified the apartment community the following morning. Thereafter I have been co-operating fully with them to exterminate the pest from the apartment until one day I suddenly receive a notice posted at my door meant to threaten me to quit within 3 days. As per their notice they claimed that I had breached the agreement for a clause but there was no such clause in the lease agreement. How can they threaten me on something that is not even a part of the agreement?Without the completion of any performed analysis or documentation and invoice from the vendor, I found an outstanding amount of $3255 in my online account in lieu of damage caused by bed bugs. The following day another physical notice was posted at my door to pay the outstanding charges immediately or my rental history will be affected. However, when I asked the apartment community, they were not aware of the charges as they were waiting on vendor to give them the final documentation and invoice. I have been trying to get information about the inspections and treatments from the apartment but havent yet received any details till date. I was mistreated and was told not to step into the leasing office couple of times when I tried to get in touch with them. As I was getting different responses from different people at the leasing office, I escalated the matter to upper management. However I was threatened by general manager of Avalon Silicon Valley Natalie and corporate manager Daxx that they will take me to court for this.
A completely awful place to live. Staff is rude and do not follow through with things they say they would (i.e. following up with me about a package they lost, discussing less of a price increase when resigning as the rent was going to increase from just over 3,000 to 3,700). Staff has been rude and I was told that they would not go lower on the rent and that it did not matter if I left because they are a big company and someone else will rent the apartment the next day. Constant fight for parking, which is made worse by the constant construction equipment taking up parking spots. Pool frequently closed sometimes without warning. All construction takes twice as long as stated resulting in at least one amenity being closed constantly. And I continue to have to fight with them after moving out due to ludicrous charges.
Avalon Silicon Valley is a nice place to live in.
I moved in a month ago and the only issue I face is with the parking a little bit. It is in the building but still far. It's a case of so close yet so far! I wish there was any other option. Rest of the stuff, I am yet to check out everything in this building but it looks really good so far. Can't wait for the gym to open up and check it out.
