All of my service requests have been taken care of promptly and my onsite manager is very friendly and sweet. The grounds are kept clean and always look nice too.
On the positive side, I like how we've moved to an automatic payment system for rent and online/email system for maintenance. However, I've found the feedback and speed at which maintenance has been carried how has been rather slow despite the streamlined service. In addition, there have been several confusing elements that have been introduced like "Livable" that still sends me statements despite the fact that I've been instructed to ignore them. I also wasn't too pleased at the almost immediate rent increase upon Sky Property's introduction which did not set a very great first impression. Most recently, I find the requirement to have renter's insurance to be a rather odd addition as, while I do already possess renter's insurance, I have never been required to have it and I would appreciate a little more transparency as to why it is now required. I understand that taking over a new property will require a bit of adjustment, as every owner is different and has different policies and methodologies and not everything works exactly as planned. But considering the changes and the rollout issues of such changes, it would be nice to have a better understanding as to why Sky Properties is operating as they are. This is why writing a review is rather difficult because I feel you guys made an awkward first impression and now you're asking me how you're doing. And my feeling is: It's hard to write a good review on an awkward first impression especially when I have no idea why it was awkward in the first place. As someone who has spent many years being an awkward person I know the importance of creating new and better memories before asking for feedback. The only reason I even agreed to write a review in the first place was because I was very interested in the opportunity of getting $500 as rent is high and I could use the money.
Very well maintained and quiet place. No pest problems.
Since the new management too over it's taken much longer to get things fixed and they are almost completely unresponsive when trying to contact the office about new charges and billing questions.
Pool/Hot tub needs better maintenance. Hot tub is broken all year and dirty. Otherwise its good. Things are fixed in a timely manner when requested.
