This is to confirm the SHADY business practices here. No advance notice, nothing. Just a surprise charge of $65+ on our utility charge for the previous month. The email announcement attached is proof to address the recent concerns raised about the "porter fee" on our accounts. They also mentioned that we're the only building out of the 3 apartments that are being charged this fee (for now), but will eventually be rolled out to the other 2 apartments within the community. This is saying that all the residents in the brand NEW apartment will need to also pay a porter fee towards 1. maintenance services, 2. common area upkeep, and 3. community events+amenities. Let that sink in for a bit... so what exactly is our rent increases going towards then? We've also been putting up with the inconsistent trash fee that ranges anywhere between $60 to $80 per month, on top of the mandatory $25 valet trash fee, which we rarely use anyways. Should've taken the hint when the utility service clearly says "CONservice".
