I really appreciated the ease in picking out and applying for the apartment as the final paper work was done in just a bit over an hour. As I wanted to check out the neighborhood some more before I had to go back to LA it gave me plenty of time to familiarize myself with the locations of CostCo to Macy's to the local grocery stores.
I have been living at Scotchollow for over 6 months and it is by far, my favorite place where I have lived. It is in a prime location in San Mateo, with easy access to shopping and transportation. It's a quiet, beautifully landscaped community with friendly and attentive staff. All of my maintenance requests have been handled in a timely manner and the leasing office has always been welcoming. It is pet friendly, which is especially important with a big dog and offers recreational areas for most activities. Definitely a place that I can call home.
not the "luxury" apartment, but it is adequate and affordable. No real complaints. It is showing it's age.
When I was looking for a new place to live, I stumbled on Laurel Crossing Apartments. Its hard to impress me, but the office staff really sold me on the place. I had a bunch of questions that they were able to answer very easily. They took me on a great tour to 3 different apartments and areas around campus, until I found one I loved. I ended up moving in a week later, they made the process easy for me and had a great move in deal. It was perfect!
After 24 years living at Laurel Crossing, we still calling it HOME.
