Dear Current Resident: I am sorry that you had a less than optimal experience in applying to live at The Woods. If this occurred after the leasing office closed down this March due to the Corona-19 virus, it has been a challenge for both residents and the reduced leasing staff to keep up with leasing demands and questions, If this was an issue that happened before we were closed, I can only apologize for what must have been a very frustrating experience. Your review is signed as a current resident; I am glad that you decided to move here. Once we can get back to business as usual, I hope that all your future dealings with the management team will be more productive.

Previous Management Company

Context lived here for 4+ years. Leasing experience: pleasant . and they are very thorough with the paperwork. Which is ok. Move in: make sure you document EVERYTHING. I just moved out and with the keys they mentioned 2+2 in the move in notice. I had 2 home keys, 1 amenity and one mail box key i.e 4 keys. However, they mentioned that it was 2 mail keys, 1 amenity and 1 home key. I have no way to prove otherwise, unless I sit there whole, not worth it, day arguing with them for a $20 charge for the key. Agreed to disagree. So document EVERYTHING. Lesson learnt. Move out: One thing I have learnt renting 8+ years now, is to NEVER expect your deposit back, no matter who/where you are renting. Thats just the way it is. Sad but true. Fact of life. So bearing that in mind, I would call it fair, the charges I had , I believe, were appropriate to the condition that I left the apartment in (with a toddler); which was good, but needed some work. The apartments: The apartments are good. Especially considering the layout, the spaces for kids to play, the pool. This is a real 5-star community facilities wise. Large apartments, appliances in good condition. Excellent for family with kids. Very diverse with all kinds of ethnicities. This is not a corporate owned apartment complex. The rent is all inclusive, which really helps ease the pain on the wallet. And rent is all inclusive.. beat that.. Maintenance requests/speed: the people who fix the things for you are really good and courteous and the maintenance is fast. We have had to call a few times in the middle of the night and it was fixed right away. Resident relations: this is most times good, sometimes bad, depending on who you have to deal with.
