North Park

I lived in The Oaks from 2014-2016. It was a really nice community with pretty open balconies, a great grill space, and my personal favorite...indoor basketball court. I never used the pools, though they were pretty popular. It is also very close to a Google bus stop, which I know makes it popular as well.

Stunning community with a ton of amenities! Staff is so sweet, and always go above and beyond. There are so many people here, great opportunity to meet new people.

I would not recommend this apartment to anyone as resident office never pick up the phone or even if you walk into the office ( During Covid) they are rude on your face and doesn't want to help or answer any questions or problems you may have, Also, we never got back our deposit. In fact, no one even contacted us about the guidelines to vacate the house. They stole our money on deposit and also, there are a lot of hidden fees which is not disclosed during the lease.

DO NOT RENT HERE. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED: I don't even know where to begin with how dissatisfied (putting it mildly) I am with Irvine Management (North Park property specifically, but, most likely others too). BE SURE TO SEE THE UNIT YOU'RE GOING TO BE RENTING! The list of issues I encountered during my stay didn't even come close to justifying the astronomical monthly fee of $2750 for a 1 bedroom, NOT EVEN CLOSE. 0 concessions during the Covid pandemic, awful appliances that would break at least once a month, multiple car break-ins, elevators would fail at least 2-3 times a week (this is not an exaggeration!), garage gate would break once a week, theyre not doing any background checks on new tenants just for the sake of revenue, greedy management who just cares about revenue and not the safety/happiness of their tenants. The list of issues goes on and on. My experience at this "luxury living" dump has been beyond awful. Be sure to double-check their recent 5-star reviews, too. You'll see that it's from people who've only left 1 review their entire life, so you can see how shady they are. They're asking their friends and family (maybe even fake accounts) to boost the ratings. I've stayed at better places for far less money. Look elsewhere, you'll be much happier. And remember, Irvine Management (North Park) is synonymous with greed, awful products, money first mentality, and most of all, awful treatment of their tenants.

This apartment complex, and all other ones in this neighborhood (River View, Crescent Village) which are all managed by Irvine Company are the worst places to live!!! they just care about your money, and you as their customer and resident have no value for them!!! they only care about charging you more and more in any way they can. I lived there for a while, but moved out a few months ago, and will never ever even think about living in one of Irvine Company apartments. they have no respect for their customers. Don't look at the nice photos they post, the reality of these apartments is so ugly and is opposite to what it looks like from outside

RENTERS BEWARE: THIS COMMUNITY IS LOCATED NEAR A SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT My negative review for this Irvine Company property was prompted by the indifference and condescending approach from Sergio in the Residence Services office at The Cypress. When a resident comes in to report reckless driving by someone living in the community, act like you care. You don't have to care, just act like it. Carlos in the Service Department is awesome and deserves 5 stars. Sorry, Carlos! Sergio ruined it for everyone. Irvine Company executive management has been informed.
