This community is fantastic! Everyone I have delt with from the management team has been extremely helpful and kind.
Giving one star review is extremely hard for me as a business owner that knows this affects a business right at its core.
If you are a pet owner this place is not for you.
I was walking by the trail yesterday with my dog and in a moment of distraction my dog got in a fight with another dog and while me and the other dog owner tried to separate them the other dog owner got hurt a little bit on his left wrist.
I agree I shouldve taken more control on my dog when it faces another dog that is declared as an aggressive breed however I did my best by pulling them apart and there was nothing more I could do to avoid this situation.
Beyond the fact the other dog owner didnt make a big deal out of it especially as the damage didnt break through his skin, this apartment complex wants to take from me the most precious thing I have in my life, my emotional support dog,
The one that helps me with my medical situation.
This apartment community you dont have a second chance they just want you to get rid of your pet like if it was trash.
They gave me 72 hours to get rid of my dog with no chances to explain and even though me and the other dog owner went together to explain how the situation happened, since you are talking to a big corporation they dont care and they will just throw you off.
Of course I would never recommend any of my friends to live in an apartment Community such as the Village Mission Valley for case like mine and others.
Do yourself a favor and go live in Portofino or the verge apartment communities those are much more caring for their residents.
Current resident of The Village at Del Mar Heights . No complaints other than high price of rent.
When we first moved in we thought management wasnt going to be as big of a problem as some others had made it seem. I was terribly WRONG. Management here is HORRIBLE. In the past few months we have had many issues with our upstairs neighbors throwing and damaging our personal property on our open patio. I reached out to management to seek help in resolving the issue and was told it was being resolved and then it happened AGAIN this time hitting cars. I reached out again and told them I felt uncomfortable they said for me to wait 1-2 weeks to talk with the neighbors. I had no follow up during this time unless I reached out to them. At the end of the 2 weeks I told them I hadnt received an update on anything I still felt uncomfortable that something else was going to happen and told them I wanted to be relocated. They told me that I would have to pay a fee because I waited too long.. AKA the 2 weeks I waited for them to "talk to these neighbors". I still have not had any resolution from management. They continuously just tell me I will have a fee for anything to move within the complex or to end my lease. They have done nothing to help assist us or make us feel more comfortable. We pay way too much to deal with people spitting, pouring, throwing items onto our belongings and vehicles. AND I was told they would assist us in cleaning up our patio and they never arrived. I take back everything I said about this place. Management is horrible and they dont care about you, your belongings or your well being. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
Beautiful and nice quiet and peaceful and happy and gorgeous
