Great views, but a terrible price relative to neighbors. Older building and things break a lot, went without AC for a month, management didn't care. Elevators broke multiple times . Pool is freezing, no hot tub. Dog run is always disgusting. They say the front desk is manned 24/7, but it isn't. Hard to contact the office without walking in, they use text but response times are sporadic. UDR gives out very high renewals at end of lease and will tell you it is market pricing - but they are benchmarking themselves against new buildings with rooftop pools and hot tubs and new gyms. Look elsewhere in DT San Diego you will be happy you did.

DONT NOT RENT FROM HERE!!! If considering please read this post! Terrible management here. They charge you for everything even when you have done what they asked. We were charged for carpet cleaning even though we had our carpet cleaned with a professional grade cleaner we rented from Home Depot and provided the receipt and were still charged. We were charged cleaning fees when we left our entire place spotless. We left filled in screw holes white instead of repainting thinking it would be the smallest charge and they charged us for repainting the entire apartment!! We were also charged a cleaning fee for our patio??? We lived on the ground level and removed every piece of furniture off of the patio. They didnt send us our final Review and charges until weeks after we left and the pictures were marked for over 2 weeks later Any dirt or debris that was blown into the patio after we left and during those 2 weeks wasnt our problem. Also some of the photos they sent us were NOT even pictures of our APARTMENT! They sent us a picture of a dirty sink that still had empty soap bottles around it. None of the bottles in the picture were bottles of soap we have ever used.. They sent pictures of things under the sink as well none of which were things we owned or ever had under the sink. Oh yeah we were also charged extra days of rent on our final bill!!!! When we disputed these things with victor he was the least helpful person. He refused to even discuss these issues.. told us to contact corporate who then told us these issues would have to be resolved with the building manager (victor) who is the least helpful person ever. Eventually they all together just stopped responding and sent all the bogus charges I was trying to dispute to collections. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTION ALL OVER THE AREA.

I just moved here recently and its really sad to see another greedy corporate especially during these extremely difficult times. Shame on the management and owners. Do not move here and support this building.

Our experience at Strata has been poor, at best. The leasing department has not been accurate or timely in their communication. Upon arrival to our unit, the unit was covered in dust, dirt, dog hair, and trash. There was even a toenail found on our dining room table... after (!) we advised Strata the unit was dirty and they stated it was cleaned. The larger issue is the property management, UDR, has been unresponsive to resolving the issues timely and completely. It took six prompted interactions from us to get a fair response and just as many visits to our unit from housekeeping and facilities. Additionally, promises were not kept. Despite communication in writing, photo evidence, and verbal descriptions, the issues were down played. Photos from our experience are posted below. In total, my wife and I have spent over 10 hours working to resolve the issues and are awaiting additional communication from UDR. It took 18 days from our lease start to have the dog hair cleaned off of our bedroom floor and the dirt on the bathroom floor wiped up. Despite the great location and views, I wish I would have decided to live in another building. UDRs focus on exemplary service needs attention. With improvements, the stock could even keep track with the broader returns in the market. It would feel nice to be valued as a customer.
