Welcome to the life above. Pacific Ridge is San Diego's premier apartment community, with a resort-style experience and a hilltop location that offers panoramic views spanning from Mission Valley to Riverwalk Golf Course to San Diego Bay and the Pacific. These luxury apartments open up to winding courtyards and a sprawling collection of amenities, pools and indoor-outdoor retreats with Moroccan-inspired decor. It's a home, and an escape, above any other.
This has got to be one of the worst places I've ever lived. It's like they slapped lipstick on a pig. For starters, the office staff if absolutely horrible. If you're looking for arrogant, mindless, disrespectful "professionals", then welcome home. I could go on and on with the newly hired staff..just terrible. Also, don't expect any of the BBQ' to work, to actually have coffee in the cafe area and you can count on the main pool being closed for months at a time for "maintenance". Also, the fire pits haven't worked in the last 3 years that I've lived there. Oh, and let me add...don't plan on having guests over because they make parking a horrendous ordeal and if you like a good college brawl, be sure to stay up past 10pm on weekends--one every week.
Carmel's exterior, such as the courtyard and amenities, are incredible.
It's a beautiful community-almost perfect. Aside from the college kids.
Over all I love living that Carmel Pacific Ridge and would recommend anyone to live here. I will be approaching my fourth year here and do not plan to leave anytime soon. I do not appreciate some of the youth/collage students that are careless and do not take care of the property. In my opinion they need to stay in the dormitories across the street. However the maintenance staff of the grounds tends to override that.
