My husband and I started our apartment hunt in Dec 2017 and were happily surprised to chance upon La Terraza in Feb 2018. We decided to rent at La Terraza (and moved in mid-March) for a couple of reasons:
1) feels like home atmosphere overall;
2) very accommodating & friendly staff (immediate response to emails & texts) - Karin, RuthAnne & Rachel; also maintenance staff were friendly & helpful
3) stable rental costs;
4) bigger space/square footage for the price, compared to others
5) very nice layout of the unit - a) definitely bigger kitchen space, b) bathrooms with separate sinks from commode and tub /shower, c) big patio plus a 2nd balcony - compared to others;
6) garage parking and open space parking included yaaay! :)
There are more reasons we believe we made the right choice as we spend more months here. Like so far its been a fairly quiet neighborhood and it always seems breezy here! Nice!
We are really happy to be at La Terraza and highly recommend it to small families.
Im amazed at the bad reviews. We have been here 2 years and the management is always excellent and service done quickly. Our apartment(2bedroom) is spacious and lots of natural light. The only issue is small and lack of parking
The reviews show a lack of respect, concern, and poor managment. Having read and visited the site I am not convinced this is a place where I would rent.
The entire community was clean, residents were friendly and the staff (a lady with a trendy hair cut) was professional and helpful with answering questions about the community and the local area. I understand why there are few vacancies. not to mention the owner takes pride in the accommodations and treating residents with respect. I wish that a vacancy came up before I moved.
I lived in Laterraza over 20 years ago. I thought I would apply and be treated in the same curteous manner as the old management treated me. Instead I was treated as if I had stole something and had intended to destroy something more! The staff was very short, rude and on the first visit she refused to show the apartments claiming that wasn't her job. On the 2nd visit with the other agent who never even acknowledged we were in their leasing office, she begrudgenly showed us around. Both times telling me there was a waiting list for 3bd
