You think the apartment has been thoroughly cleaned, but it has not. Once you have taken the keys, they will not come to make certain repairs. Once I moved in, the sun glared on my walls for me to find writing all over the wall. They will not paint after you move in, you need to purchase paint from Sherwin Williams. To match the apt, you need to buy 5-gallons. Maintenance will not give or sell you paint. My first shower in the primary bedroom bathroom, writing on the mirrors, showed up. Steam from the shower revealed affirmations from the previous tenants about 1/3 of the way down the mirror. You couldn't remove it with Windex. I had to use goof off to remove the writing. After moving in, we would walk on the edges of the carpet, and my family and I could feel the carpet nails. I was told this is normal. I'm picky, and we don't wear shoes in our home. I asked if the carpets were done, and I was told yes, but they would not clean the carpet before I moved in. I hired someone to clean it for me. The carpet cleaner came and commented on the water coming out dirty for the carpet clean. Didn't think anything of it. We moved in with our potty-trained dog, and the first thing she does is pee on the carpet. Ok, I thought it was the stress. She continued to do it for months which baffled the family. After the continuous cleaning on my part, I decide to hire another carpet cleaning service. I explained to him what was going on. Come to find out later, the last time this carpet was replaced was 3 to 4 years ago, and according to maintenance, they will not change your carpet once you move in. The carpet cleaner believes the previous tenant may have had a dog that urinated in the apartment. He tells me to get a blacklight and flash it on the floor at night. I ordered it and did it within the week; I couldn't believe what I was seeing. You can see the stains throughout the apartment, under furniture that has been sitting there since we moved in, in the closets, just everywhere.

When giving reviews or reading reviews please be aware of the many facets involved in apartment living. Giving a complex 1 star because customer service wasnt great ( esp during a pandemic) without addressing living there or all the other positive things does not give a fair representation. I lived at these apartments for 4 years, 2 years in a 1 bedroom and 2 years in a 2 bedroom. Though during the pandemic it was harder to get ahold of people, they have always been great before. The maintenance team is amazing as is their manager/coordinator Minh. The apartments themselves are super spacious, great AC and heating, beautifully built and the amenities are wonderful. Ive never been a fan of parking structures but appreciate that you get a spot or two on your floor. Overall, this was an amazing place to live within walking distance of lots of shopping, dining and parks and 2 major freeways. Of course all apartment involves some level of noise from certain neighbors but they are very good at addressing the superloud neighbors on late nights etc. If most people are being comprehensive in their reviews they would at the very least give these apartments 3 out of 5 even if disappointed by the initial customer service

I can see why there are so many negative reviews! I've had to hound the management staff to basically do their jobs! From promised emails (never received) of available units to requesting an update about a move in which was less than a week out, it was radio silence from these people unless promted. The customer service needs an overhaul. There is a lot of dead wood as office staff. Someone needs to start a campfire and bring in new management. Shamefull. The property itself is impressive.
