Very clean, quiet, common areas are well maintained, pool and spa are immaculately maintained. Some residents have left their trash around spa. Lovely setting by the pool with fire and gas heating. Apartment is so cozy, well insulated and very clean when I moved it, looked brand new. Great to not hear the neighbour noise so floors are not too thin.

woman who was suppose to answer phone never did...had to drive over there and the door was locked, though she was inside as turns out, wouldn't answer phone but finally after knocking on door several times she did---only to tell me there were no vacancies. yet their ads run continuously!!!! very misleading and doesn't say much in the way of a positive attitude.

Overall, the experience living here is "good" but there are better places to consider for the amount of money they are having you spend to live here. I say this because this community has major flaws and over time, will make current tenants reconsider continuing or renewing their lease. Here are some flaws that I've experienced while living here:

1. Leasing office - It seems that management is never in the office, therefore, making it hard to get in contact with them. Seems as if they make their own schedule when it comes to doing their job. One of management lives in the complex themselves and it seems she feels the need to never be in the office. Her priority does not seem to be focused on her job, but rather, her personal life (assumption).

2. Facility - This is a nice property and the upkeep is well maintained (landscaping), but at the price, they choose to lease the units at, one would expect more being offered to its tenants (i.e. better fitness room, equipment, better parking, etc).

3. Parking - The parking here sucks. Neighbors do not know how to park and/or fail to follow the parking rules that assigned to the entire complex (i.e. assigned parking permits). Majority of the parking spots are compact, so if you have a truck or something of that size, then, be prepare to have difficulty finding parking.

4. Enforcement - Let's just be honest and tell whoever is reading this that the management office seems lazy. The rules of the pool, when it comes to after-hours serve no purpose. People are constantly ignoring the rules and are at the pool after hours, even when the hours of operation of the pool is displayed. Sorry if you end up in a unit next to the pool. Parking rules are also something that they fail to enforce. Guest are parking in tenants parking, tenants parking outside their designated permit parking, tenants/guest are double parking, etc.

This a "good" place to live but nowhere near great. Everyone will have their own experiences.

I have never met a less enthusiastic easing agent in my entire life. Everything from her phone voice to in person. She was dressed in jeans and a casual knit top with her cell phone in her back pocket and keys hanging out. She pointed to where things were, like the business center and the fitness center but didn't offer to show them.
When we made our way to the actual model apt - which they only have one to show and it's a 2 bedroom- and had dirty carpet and look like the bed had been sat on and messed up- she offered no tour. No info. We just walked in and looked for ourselves.luckily we knew what questions to ask- like parking? Guest parking? Pets? Deposit? Application requirements? Availability? She offered no info- unless we asked and on some topics she was just unclear.
I would like to meet with an adult, preferably well versed in the community they are representing.
Overall- I like the community- but wasn't encouraged or sold on living there by this girl at all.
Too bad. And there didn't appear to be anyone else present. I asked her how long she had work there and she said about 9-10 months.
Note to Canyon View Management: please hire or re train your people. This was horrible representation of an otherwise beautiful property.

Response time to maint. request is very fast. Management takes pride in the appearance of the grounds, clubhouse, leasing office, etc. Nice location with awesome views of Mission Trails and Cowle's Mountain. Lived in my apartment since June 2014.
