Save yourself a lot of grief and money and do not move into these so-called 'luxury' apartments. In the few years I lived here, I had to deal with mouse infestations, airbnbing of the units to strangers and finally over 6 months of cockroach infestation of the whole building, including my unit, which management didn't care to do anything about. There were two summers where I couldn't even use the nice amenities I was paying for because the pool and hottub were full of tourists on vacation. My car got scratched by one of them parking next to me and there were cigarette butts on my patio from vacationers from the unit above. It felt like we were living in cheap motel and despite many residents expressing their concern and discomfort, management didn't care to do anything, which led to a resident initiated petition to address the issue. The recurrent roach infestation is what led me, and multiple other tenants, to finally leave. But the best part, management not only didn't compensate me in any way for having to live in such disgusting conditions, in addition to having to get my unit sprayed over and over again, but they tried to charge me an extra month's rent for leaving when my lease expired for not giving full 30 days notice, despite the fact that the roaches reappeared for the 7th month. When I moved out, the floors behind the furniture were covered in mouse excrement. When I had expressed my concern about the mice my neighbors and I were experiencing, management's answer was to tell me to get mouse traps. It's been a terrible experience overall. Alliance and Broadstone Little Italy charge luxury rates for unacceptable and substandard living conditions.
The location is great and the amenities good but living here is a constant pain, don't be blind by the looks, this will be your home! If you expect to live in a place where you can get packages, you know order online, have flowers delivered to you, forget it! This is not the place. The staff is helpful and nice when you first come to visit, they will delight you, but once you live here they don't care for you or your business, they are rude and unhelpful. There is a huge issue with packages in this building, they constantly loose packages but they claim not to be responsible, there will be a clause on your contract that says they are not responsible for packages. They basically allow them selves to loose or steal any packages you receive at this building!! I objected to this unacceptable living situation and was told I could have my packages send elsewhere if I didn't want them lost. I'm not the only one, look at multiple reviews this is real pain once you live here, negligence at it's top and no care for customers. With so many new apartments save yourself the trouble!! This is only regarding packages, concierge service is a must in a community advertised as luxury living, but not even close! On the noise side, is an even bigger pain, building construction next door means no sleep in days at all, no naps, constant horrible noise!! and finally on the security side one of the features they sell to you as so important, not there. The leasing office people often leave the main door open, for the convenience of not having to open the door for walk ins to visit apartments. This breaks the basic concept of security they have you buy into!! I raised this concern multiple times to security and management and the door is back to semi open (easy access) every day, so forget about the security promise they make to you when selling. IF you don't trust this review just stop by a couple times before moving, door will be open! Check more reviews this is a nightmare once you move,
