I have had the worse experience living at Verano apartments. At first, the units looked nice and the staff friendly. It wasnt until we moved in that we realized what a huge mistake it was. The apartment complex is dirty, trash cans always stuffed, dog poop everywhere that is never cleaned up. One of the highlights for me was the two playgrounds they have for the kids. Unfortunately, it always smell like dog urine there. Not to mention, the cheap, old appliances! In the short months we lived there the fridge had to be replaced because it wasnt cooling, washer was leaking water, water heater not heating properly. List goes on. While on vacation our car was crashed into and Verano management were of little help. All car parking is assigned and the neighbors white car would match the scratches found on our truck but with no help from the management team, we had to accept the loss.
Verano is a dog friendly community and I love dogs! But one of our neighbors had a big bull dog or pit bull (among other dogs) that literally barked all night. I constantly asked the management team to contact my neighbor and ask them to help keep the dogs calm during the night. Not only did the barking continue, but the management team seamed really bothered by me calling them about this matter.
Lastly, I made it clear to the apartment manager I would thoroughly clean my apartment and wash the carpet so we would have the cleaning fees waived. I believe I left the unit spotless and carpet like new. I have pictures and video recording of everything as proof. However I still received a bill charging me for cleaning, carpet and paint. I spent around 60 dollars printing and sending them pictures because they claim they are not allowed to open files, links or receive flash drives...which sounds like a big excuse to me. They claim the oven was not clean and so the charges ($130.00) were to have someone come in and clean the oven. The oven WAS cleaned but the old oven
If you are thinking of moving into an apartment here at Verano I would very much recommend it. I've been living here for about a month now and so far it has been very pleasant. The apartment complex is fairly new. They have nice amenities and parking is not a problem. We pay for reserved parking and I definitely recommend it. As with any apartment complex there is some noise from neighbors walking and such. (We are on the 2nd floor) I believe that will be the case in any apartment complex. Other than that there are no complaints.
I have lived here for many years. Love the apartments love the area!
