Way Overpriced. Utilities are always really expensive because everyone pays a combined average. For one person in a small one bedroom expect to pay at least an extra $120 a month.
There are maybe two helpful people who work in the office, if you dont get either of them, good luck. Id rather fix things myself than have to call the office most of the time.
New parking rules are being implemented where any unregistered cars that are parked after the office closes must have a parking permit or will be towed. This means any guest you ever have either leaves before 5 or has to check in every time. It used to be guests checked in if they were staying for 72 hours, which is reasonable, but now its basically anytime. Security resources should be better spent making sure the premises are safe, not harassing renters and their guests.
The security gate is broken and left open at least once a month, sometimes for weeks at a time, and cars are broken into way too often.
The walls are very thin. If my TV is off, I can hear everything my neighbors are doing. Luckilly, I havent had any problems with neighbors being loud or anything like that yet. Everyone mostly keeps to themselves.
The grounds are pretty nice and well maintained though. I think appearances are the only thing management truly cares about, other than money of course.
When you tour the community, apartments are nice with great vaulted ceilings and huge balcony, community has great amenities and they promise a gated community. Do not be fooled. I have always lived in community type apartment complex and this is by far the worse! It should have been a red flag for me when a week before I was due to move in there was radio silence, I had to reach out to the leasing office multiple times to know what I needed to move in. When I did move in the apartment was a disaster! Door were broken, stains on the floor, holes in the wall. It only spiraled from there. I had to go to the office everyday for the first two weeks to try and remedy the condition of the apartment and two months later there are still pending repairs. When talking to the manager she told me to let us know and we'll help to the best of our ability... I don't think she understood the point was I had already wasted so much time "letting them know." Parking... they promise available parking. Yeah available if you make your own space in the fire lane. But don't worry, I've never seen them tow those cars!
They didn't get back to my inquiries, but we're very receptive to tours during their business hours. Great community and we look forward to making it or new home. They only give pricing and availability 30 days out, but I suppose in this area that's safe given how volatile the market is.
