La Veta Grand is honestly a great place. For the area, meaning the City of Orange, the rent is compatible to maybe just a hair above what's around. One item I'm wary about is the age of the complex/its water supply piping, meaning does it have good water pressure and does hot water come in a reasonalble time - the answer is YES! Water pressure is great and hot water is reasonably fast. The apartment itself is very nice and roomy; about the size, it's a 1000 SF!! Two bed and 2 full baths. Stone counters in the kitchen and the baths. The condition is super nice and for a place built in the 1980's, it is super nice. If you plan on living in Orange, you need to check out La Veta Grand Apartments, seriously.

I lived at La Veta Grand for Two years! It was amazing! I was very impressed with how well they maintained everything and did repairs in a very professional manner. The maintenance men were very knowledgeable and professional. I felt safe living there. The grounds are beautiful and people who live there were so kind and respectful. It was my refuge and I would highly recommend living here. The management was great too! I am grateful for all that they did for me and my family.

In my 6 years of renting I have never experienced such a horrible apartment complex/leasing staff. There have been multiple instances where maintenance requests, emails and calls regarding important issues have been ignored even with follow up communication. The staff is very rude and unorganized, and use the most out dated and antiquated procedures (paper communication regarding important issues are rubber banded to the door). The infrastructure of each unit is so old and barely functions. There was nothing done when gas was cut off with out notice for several days with no apology or discounted rent. Truly a horrible experience and I do not wish my last 5 months here on anyone.
