Though only living here for a couple weeks, my experience has been wonderful so far. Everyone in the leasing office is amazing, Dayane especially has been so wonderful from the tour, through the leasing process and move in. The apartment itself is laid out perfectly for me and provides ample space for being just a one bedroom. I have not taken advantage of all of the amenities but the fitness center is great and never too busy or crowded! The location is ideal for me and central to many restaurants/bars and shopping. I foresee myself living at Alder for many years to come!
Take the published rental rate, now add $100. That s the price you will actually pay. Not worth the price for value you re getting.
Spacious floorplans, excellent leasing and management staff, extraordinary amenities - Best living in the North Valley
I was one of the very first people to move in back in June of last year. My experience started off well, but as I lived here longer problems seem to have emerged. First, the apartments are a little overpriced in my opinion. I am always willing to sacrifice space for higher quality and nicer looking apartment, but on top of the price of rent another $100 is added on for $40 of trash (are you insane?!) and other fees. We're talking Northridge. This isn't the best area to live in, yet they price a 720 sq apartment at $2,100. They also like to have "rules" about this place yet never enforce any of them. People are always throwing parties by the pool and playing music loud yet I have never seen any one from management come out and say something. My boyfriends car got towed without any notice by the maintenance people (who knows he's my boyfriend and could simply knock on my door) and they also live in this apartment complex and park their cars in the guest parking as well. (How ironic). And I've had broken cabinets the past two months that I've called several times to get fixed and yet nothings happened. I call and leave messages all the time and no one calls me back. You have to keep reminding them, but when it comes time to pay rent they'll take your money. I got locked in my bathroom one night and no one from maintenance answered for over an hour. What is the point of having an emergency phone number. Luckily my boyfriend was there or I would have had to break down the door myself. I get that this is a big place and rules need to be set in place, but listen to your tenants. They're might be a few good suggestions we all can make. I'm looking forward to my rent increase in November for god knows why.
This is an absolutely wonderful place to live! Alder is perfect in every way and I am so happy to be here.
