The Mansfield at Miracle Mile

Deceptive and possibly illegal business practices. Management being horrible is an understatement. My girlfriend and I both feel fortunate that our lease fell apart. We were told, The 2-month free discount was only for our studio floor plans. As of today, 6/27/24, our special has changed to only one month free when you sign a 13-18 month lease term on all available floor plans. When we applied to lease the 2-bedroom loft, we were accepted, and a lease was sent to us. We noticed the 1-month ($6,000) discount was not included in the lease. Management then told us it was not valid for our unit, even though they previously said otherwise. When we pointed this out and mentioned it was not ethically or legally correct to change the terms, we were essentially told to take it or leave it. They offered a refund for our deposit, and we accepted. As of the writing of this review, we have yet to receive our deposit back. I should note the unit has been vacant since January 2024. It seems odd to play games with an 800-credit tenant willing to sign an 18-month lease over a one-month concession. I guess this is what you get with self-management. For what it is worth, the property is indeed beautiful, and the units are spacious. What worries me is how much help you would get if something were to go wrong. Best to stay away and find a better-managed place.

24 days without hot water and the management offers a $500 rent concession to be paid 16 months from now and only if we renew the lease. Things constantly break in this building, there's constant construction and there have been 5 leasing managers within 5 months. They charge luxury apartment prices but are far from luxury. This building is extremely poorly managed. Avoid!

If you are in the market for a premium priced apartment community, I strongly urge you to pass on The Mansfield if strong customer service, integrity and respect are qualities from management that are important to you. If you want to pay for a luxury rental and risk being disrespected and embarrassed by management and forced to argue with their lawyers, by all means come to The Mansfield. I have lived at The Mansfield for 7 months and have another 11 months remaining on my lease. This review is not from a disgruntled former tenant sending parting shots on their way out the door. This review is from a current resident who will be experiencing The Mansfield in real time for the next year. My experience with The Mansfield leasing office (particularly community manager Stefanie) and corporate management (Stefanie's supervisor Aaron) is easily the worst residential leasing experience I've encountered in my 15+ years leasing apartments. Further, my experience at The Mansfield is the most execrable customer service experience I've encountered with a paid product or service, in my entire life.

Great building. Great leasing staff. Large units and a great area. Would highly recommend!

moved in on the 10/08/2020 and it has been 5 days no central AC. management is rude and condescending; stephanie at the leasing office needs an attitude check. do not live here - overpriced with horrible service and maintenance is 3rd party vendor so everything takes forever to get fixed. avoid at all cost.
