I lived at Mohawk Gardens for two years and recently moved out. My rent was raised three times, would have been four if I stayed and there was never any renovations made to the inside of the apartment, just repainting the stair railings. Upon me leaving I was charged for "pet pee" being found on a carpet scan. When I initially moved in only cats were allowed, Im allergic to cats and never had a pet in my apartment. The property manager Denisee will not make time to accommodate the residents, so if you work during the time the office hours are posted (8-5) you will not get any help if you have questions, need to resign your lease or need a simple parking pass. I was in a car accident January 2018 that left my car totaled, so naturally my first instinct was not to grab my parking permit. I made the apartment manager aware of the situation, when I finally got my new car I updated the information regarding my car, my car still got towed. Since Denisee could not come in early or stay late I ended up having to call my job to let them, know I would be a little late and informed them of the circumstances. To my surprise I was more than two hours late because Denisee showed up late. I ended up having to put security camera's in my apartment due to Denisee giving the maintenance guy a key/permission to enter when I was not home, after I had already expressed that I did not want anyone "fixing" anything while I was not there. When I asked Denisee why the maintenance man was in my house when I had requested them not to enter, she blamed the maintenance man. Apparently maintenance is given an additional key outside the one copy they advise is locked up in a safe box. The surrounding units constantly have bedbug problems. When I last resigned my lease in May Denisee advised someone would be coming to inspect, no one ever showed. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
