What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Fountain Valley

My neighborhood is unique in that it is in a city essentially founded by Japanese Americans. I like going to new restaurants and shops for immigrants.

I love that we're tucked away in a cul-de-sac but still close to a larger street, within a mile of two highway on-ramps, and a short walk to grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops. When friends come over we can walk to local bars.

Nothing that special. The pizza shop is great and then there 8s a.donut spot. There also gas station near by that sale a few goods.

Nearby park. Nearby grocery store. Lots of events at the nearby recreation center. Lots of food nearby.

The neighborhood is close to public transportation. Also, it is relatively safe from crime. I also like the ability I have to have long walks and get adequate exercise.

Close to public transportation and stores. There are quite a few local stores that can fulfill some need and the people aren't so bad. You just need to be careful like any other neighborhood.

Living in Fountain Valley, CA

Located on the western edge of Orange County close to the Pacific, the city of Fountain Valley offers apartment residents an attractive and welcoming community in which to live and work.

Fountain Valley is home to a number of world-class medical and technology companies, many of which serve as major employment hubs for local apartment residents. The presence of the Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, the Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and technological firms such as Kingston Technology and Surefire enhance Fountain Valley's clout as a hub for the medical and scientific community. Hyundai and the D-Link Corporation also make their national headquarters in Fountain Valley, although it's not all work and no play for apartment residents in this city.

The community boasts scenic highways and breathless natural beauty, incorporating the very best of nature with suburban sprawl and modern amenities. Fountain Valley apartment residents often find themselves taking trips to Mile Square Regional Park to enjoy the bright Orange County sunlight, and there are in fact few better places in the region to do so. The 640-acre park features two sparkling fishing lakes, three 18-hole golf courses, picnic areas and an array of sporting venues including baseball fields, archery ranges and a recreation center. There's truly no shortage of recreational options at the popular park, though some apartment residents might be satisfied simply traversing the park's 20-acre nature area and catching a close-up glimpse of native Californian plants
