Your site said there were apartments available but when I inquired they said they only rent for the school year starting in September
I already knew that there are so many complains in this apartment. At some point, I would agree. However, I would like to tell you guys that there are some overstatements in the complains. That means that this is not gorgeous and up-to-date apartment, but I generally didnt have problems in terms of apartment facility, and felt usually ok during my rent except several problems described. below. During my life at Davis for a year, there are two problems on the unit. First, although the unit has A/C system at the ceiling, that doesnt work well at the second floor unit during the summer season. I thought that it happened due to direct sunlight, but I am not sure that the system works at the first floor. Second, there are some breaks on the water supply. The management office normally notified the interruption of water supply at least 12 h ago, but (rarely) did right before they stopped the supply. Another problem for specific people is that there are several not-well trained dogs. They always bark so loudly at the morning (9-10 am), evening (7-8 pm), and late night (rare case, but at least one time per a week). So, if you were not familiar with dogs, you would be stressful every evening. Therefore, I would recommend this apartment as a second or third option.
A warning: This business will attempt take a solid chunk of your security deposit regardless of how much time you spend cleaning even if nothing is broken.
Trash apartment, they just charge us fee for no reason.
Absolutely a disaster! The flats are expensive and very old. The isolation and the water are 2 serious problems in their flats. The management and maintenance are very inefficient. They always try to argue to don't process the maintenance requested. How does anyone live here for more than a year? I wanted to move after 2 weeks.
