Management turnover, horrible response time, nothing to be done about complaints. Where do I start!?? I have lived here for almost 4 years and still they have yet to combat the issues we are faced with daily with weed and cigarettes. No one in my apt smokes. we have 3 children. You have to hold your breath when you walk out because of the smoker on our floor. numerous noise complains have been filed on the most disrespectful neighbor above me I have EVER had. pictures have fallen off of my walls due to his stomping around at all hours of the night. There is so much trash piled around the dumpers. people don't even make it to the dumpster they just drop their trash steps from it. Instead of completing work orders they just cancel them. I am so tired of living here and cannot wait to get out. I have called and filed numerous complaints with the office as well as other neighbors in my building and still nothing has been done to fix the problem....Except a letter on everyone's door about smoking inside......that did a lot. For the outrageous amount we pay monthly you would think this would be a decent place to have our family. Unfortunately that is not the case.

If I could give zero stars I would. Dependable renter of 2 years with 1 month (10/17) left on lease, and being a police officer who was in a horrible accident while on duty on 9/23/17 expected to be hospitalized for 2 months was not enough reason to assist the family of the officer in any way. The 3rd floor apartment was not accommodating to wheelchairs so a new apartment was sought and located with a different complex. Not only did they REFUSE to allow early lease termination (one month, $746 total), but they REFUSED to sign a rental verification for the new complex until this $746 was paid (keep in mind it wasn't even due for several more days). And, the rent is set up on auto draft for 10/05, but they state that paying on 9/29 with a money order or cash will incur a $25 additional fee. AND, the auto draft may still be presented on 10/05 and WILL NOT BE REFUNDED (yes, they basically insinuate they have no problem double charging for this apartment). Now, I don't know it this is an incompetent front office worker(s) or if this is a money hungry Richardson Properties employee/owner, but either way they obviously have no idea how to manage apartment complexes. All of this is on top of a horrible rental experience over the last few months due to an AC unit that went out in the 100 degree heat index summer. Not only were the renters (my son the police officer and his girlfriend) given a HUGE utility bill, but they were forced to use a barely functioning window unit that leaked on their belongings during the 2 week wait for AC repair. Maintenance is a joke. If you chose to rent from this company, I highly suggest taking pictures before moving in. Carpet is poorly laid and pieced together, and since it isn't stretched properly or taped/tacked down at seams and edges, it will begin to fray and loosen. I am sure that is the next battle we encounter at final walk through. I have lived in a Maumelle since 1998, and will never refer anyone here again.
