Honestly, living here has been very inconvenient. Since I lived here my downstairs flooded due to uninsulated Walls, car broken into, and just recently a pipe bust and leaked on my nice rug and couch. Management really didn't care when i asked about it and didn't show any sympathy. Yes they "fixed" the issues but it always seemed like it was something going wrong. They mainly care about the money and less about the people in those homes. The homes here are old and need to be better inspected for future residents.
I resided here from May 2017-May 2018. NEVER LATE WITH RENT. I moved here from out of state (NC) and viewed the apt online. The day I arrived to the apt. it was dirty and the apt door was unlocked. I had to go pick up the key which was almost 25 minutes away from the property. Management did not know the apt was unlocked. Dead water bugs all around the apt. Appliances were dirty and it smelled old. I had no other choice but move in. I notified management of the condition of the property and they sent out their cleaning lady. She only spot cleans. She wiped out the oven and wiped out the tubs. I had to deep clean before unpacking. I took pictures and video when I moved in. In August my AC unit went out. I notified management. It took them a week to fix the unit. The only thing they provided for me was a shop vac to blow hot air into the apt. They weren't concerned at all that I had a young child with asthma. I had to spend 4 days in the hotel (I paid for). They wouldn't take any monies off the rent for the time I had to spend in the hotel. Maintenance enters your apt whenever without notification. I was in the shower and thank goodness I had the door to the bathroom closed because maintenance had entered the apt unbeknownst to me had came upstairs and was knocking on my room door. I thought it was one of my children. The next thing I hear is a man's voice. He had opened the door to my room and was shouting in! I yelled that I was in the shower! He left! I've called for pest control a few times... Those calls went unanswered. I can only remember them coming out maybe 3 or 4 times during my stay there. This property has big water bug issue! I took upon myself to purchase spray for the spiders and water bugs. Fast forward to move out. I cleaned that place immaculately. I always leave things better than I find them. They still charged me 195.00 stating its a fixed cleaning charge. The apt wasn't cleaned when I moved in it! I am so glad to be DONE with this property!
I was given an eviction notice because the manager of the property said I didnt pay my rent. I turned in a money order in the companys drop box in Bryant on the day it was due. I told them the date and time I turned it in(there is a camera in front of the drop box). The manager told me they never received the money order and that no one other than the staff has taken anything out of the drop box. I called money gram, the company I got the money order from and they told me it was cashed on the day I received the eviction notice. The property manager told me I needed to obtain a photocopy of the money order because she had no record of cashing my money order. I contacted moneygram again and I was charged $24 to get a photocopy of the cleared money order. In summary, the property manager researched, confirmed that they did receive payment but it was applied to another account. While I understand that we are all human and that errors can be made, I feel an apology should have been offered to me for the time and the stress that I was subjected to trying to rectify an error that I was not my fault. However they felt that an apology was not warranted.
Great place to live... sound proof roomy and a quiet community... I plan to move back
