I have called this complex several times and no one ever answers.
They do not fix thing properly. They rig everything and the office People are rude they trick you with the kindness too move in. But once your in they turn. That smile you had moving in to a sad face cause of the service rendered. So take my advice dont do it. They beating people out of money for these apartments. All honesty.
If it had 0 stars thats what i would give it. Now let me tell why 1. Maintenance! Everytime something is wrong they blame it on YOU! Had a leak in the closet that made the floor soaked. Took them a day to come do something about it then tried to blame it on our washer. Meanwhile it came from the neighbors hot water heater. Carpet soaked meaning mildew. You think they changed the carpet? NO. Took everything out the closet said they were going to put it back but didnt. Thats just one thing. It was bugs, air stopped working multiple times, kitchen sink stopped up, bathroom toilet overflowed.Anything that could have went wrong with apartment did. 2. Leasing office workers are UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! Especially the girl that works there. 3. Walls so thin i heard everything from every apartment around. EVERYTHING. trash everywhere around the apartment. If we didnt put it on my boyfriends credit, that lease would have been broke. I counted down the days we had to move. WE MOVED THE DAY THE LEASE WAS UP! Moral of the story BRIARWOOD IS NOT IT! How its 4 starts on here is BEYOND ME. Now Im done.
I initially went to Briarwood to view the property and speak with the front office staff and was impressed with the helpfulness. I made the decision to move forward with moving into the apartments because they were very close to my job and also inexpensive. I completed my application and prepared to move in. I went to take a look at the apartment that i would be moving into and had minor concerns that i wanted addressed before moving in. The leasing agent, Bryan, told me that he would personally walk through the apartment to make sure everything was up to par for my move in. Fast forward to move in day, I had taken off work for an entire weekend and had family helping me pack and load my things to move. I went to the office to sign my lease and pay, before doing so I asked Bryan if my concerns were addressed and he had no idea what I was talking about (clearly showing that he never went back to check the apartment). We went over to do a walk through before I signed an my lease and lets just say it was a disaster. The fan above the stove did not work, the oven would not turn on, the toilet was not flushing properly, multiple cabinets were not closing all the way in the kitchen, one drawer in the bathroom was off track, the fan in the bedroom would not cut on, and there was a crack in the bedroom window. I advised them that I would not be signing a lease with all of the issues that the apartment had. I received a phone call approximately 20 minutes later from Bryan letting me knonthat everything was fixed except the window. I dont know how that would be possible but needless I decided against moving in and decided to spend a little extra money to move to a quality property. If you make the decision to move to this property PLEASE check everything before moving in. This was one of the most unprofessional situations thatni have ever experienced and I wouldnt advise anyone to rent here unless you have no other choice.
I am giving the following property 4 stars because I have only lived in my unit four days. However, the 4 stars represent the move in process, customer service, patience and the detailed tour. You have an amazing property representative (Bryan), who was very kind, knowledgeable and thoroughly in tune with this complex and the move in process. Additionally, I was impress with the space and cleanliness of the units. I have one slight infraction- just a few pot hole covers and the property is exceptional.
