My wife and I recently moved to Tucson from CA. We decided on Casas Lindas Casas Lindas because the views were nice and the apartment size was adequite. We signed a short tem lease as we were looking to buy a home in the area. Our lease was for three months. We have a cat. We paid a 200.00 non refundable pet fee along with 40.00 a month extra to have our cat there. Total fees paid per month was 1323.00. We also left a 500.00 deposit. We stayed for 7 weeks and found a home and moved out. After paying a 200.00 non refundable fee for our cat and an extra 40.00 per month Casas Lindas deducted another 125.00 from our 500.00 deposit for "vent cleaning after pet" and 55.00 for carpet cleaning. The carpet cleaning I am good with but the 125.00 to clean the vents after we have already left a 200.00 non refundable pet fee seems wrong. I might add the pool was dirty most of the time and closed for about 3 out of the 7 weeks we stayed there. Also My son and I like to play basketball and thay had a basketball hoop as an amenitie but we could never get the management to straighten it out so it was barely useable.
We came here on 4/28/2015. We are retired and I spent my career in Plumbing,Heating and AirConditioning. The last twenty years were spent in Property Management. Most of that time was at The Villages in Florida. As in all companies, Casas Lindas has to do any repairs to apartments with in the restriction of their monthly financial budget. I found that they were more then ready to do what we agreed was needed in our apartment, if I took the time to plan the improvements over time as their budget allowed. Small leaks,plug drains and normal repairs in our apartment were done quickly. They are reasonable people, working under the restrictions off a budget, like all of us.
Maintenance service is speedy and top notch; my apt. Isa very good size, being 800 sq. ft.; the office responds with interest to my needs.
I will be out when my lease ends because I have never in my life lived where management manipulates and lies to their residents to this degree. Unprofessional dosen't even begin to describe their disgusting behavior!
