Didn't post notices on the door when they removed the rent drop box, had to pay late fees as a result. One death on the property someone killed a man by the mailboxes and was never caught. We had a person running around the complex with a gun the same person went across the street to Walmart and was waving the gun around and was arrested.

As far as your concern about comfort, unfortunately, we cannot control the happenings in our neighborhood, but our team does our best to ensure our residents' comfort in every way that we can. Let me just start by saying if I could give no stars I'd still give them a negative five stars! I lived at Camino Seco Village apartments for about a year. In that time I live in two different units. DO NOT BE FOOLED by the unique spiral stair case offered in the one bedroom apartments. At one point our stair case was literally dropping nuts and bolts. It took maintenance 2 months to come to fix it. In my time living here I could see that they were slowly working to improve the exterior of the buildings but this does not fix the underlying problems. The walls a extremely thin. Your can clearly hear conversations from your neighbor on all sides. On a nightly basis, in both units I could not sleep at night without our neighbors having a "good time." We had to deal with cockroaches, insects, and rodents. YES MICE! We informed the office, they gave us sticky traps to figure it out on our own. We found a whole family of them. They told us they would bomb the apartment and fill the hole in the wall. The best they did was simply patch the hole. I guess so the mice could make a hole in someone else's apartment. We demanded to be able to get out of our lease because the apartment was practically unlivable. The best the Apartments Director and HSL properties would allow is to put us on a payment plan to pay the over $2000 in lease breaking fees to be able to leave. We were forced to transfer to another HSL property.

Anything in the apartments that could leak, leaked I mean from the sinks, to cracks in the windows, as well as the ceiling. We lived on the bottom floor and the ceiling had bubbles from leaks in the apartment above us. Our washing machine was absolutely horrible. It constantly leaked and ripped holes in our clothes. The fridge, guess what, also leaked. The trimming had so old that it had cracks all around it, our fridge was using so much electricity trying to stay cold.
