Located in the heart of Tempe, just a short walk from the ASU campus, 12Fifty5 is close to the buzzing downtown nightlife and Tempe Town Lake. We offer contemporary furnishings and modern design in our common areas. Our studio, one, and two bedroom apartments are just right for you. Take a dip in one of our three refreshing pools. if you're looking for cheap living, look no further. 12fifty5 defines substandard in every aspect.
Focusing on the property itself... Trash accumulates everywhere from pool to dumpster areas to hallways & stairwells. Pools are almost always locked. Don't bother asking the leasing office to unlock the pool gates -- according to them, it's the cleaning service's responsibility. You have the opportunity to file maintenance requests online (which is great!) except, no matter how many service requests are fulfilled, your apartment will still be roach-ridden.
Most importantly, the management and leasing staff... above all else, they are not people of their word. I was promised one thing, signed by both myself and 12fifty5, that went brushed off into the wind after they got my money. I understand 12fifty5 is in close proximity to one of the consistently top 10 party schools in the nation, but I assumed an apartment rental community would exhibit more professionalism than I've had the displeasure of experiencing here...& I'm sure you know what happens when one assumes.
To abide by the character limit, these are just a few examples from a first person point of view. I highly suggest you consider seeking a different community for your residential needs.
To many bugs and to expensive for what the have
I didnt like how the door was all banged up like if someone had a struggle of some sort
UPDATE - MORE FEES: Suddenly changed their policies and now paying your rent online incurs a $26 fee! I am finally moving out at the end of this month, and what a relief it will be! I'm tired of getting nickle and dimed for every little thing, while also overpaying for an outdated apartment.
I've lived here for 4 years now... The ownership and management changed in the last year or two (I don't remember exactly when the change happened), and things did get a bit better. HOWEVER, we are now getting charged for parking. In the 4 years I've lived here, there has never been a charge for parking. Nothing has been improved, nothing has been upgraded, and yet this month we are now being charged for something that was free last month. Absolutely ridiculous... It would be one thing if they upgraded the covered parking, or did something that warranted a charge for parking, but nothing has changed at all... They just want to make more profit off of their residents.
Price is to high for the living space theres better places for cheaper
