RUN!!! I signed a short term lease knowing I was moving across the country no later than the end of the lease. I discussed this AT LENGTH with the office staff when I moved in; also discussed it with the manager who did the initial walk-through with me; I called numerous times, I sent numerous emails and they take FOREVER to get back to you! I emailed THREE TIMES to get my pro-rated amount for my last month since I was not renewing my lease. NO response...and when they finally responded?? "Oops, you have to give a 60 day notice, not a 35 day notice" I said, "You've had a four-month notice! You had notice the day I moved in!" Their response? "Yeah, but you don't have our form with our staff signatures on it." WHAT??? C'mon people! THEN? After that, they emailed me a 30 day notice with this exact statement, "I have attached the 30 day notice form. If you could please fill out and sign and send it back, this should take care of the written notice move out process for your lease dates." FINE! I did that IMMEDIATELY. Resolved right? NOPE! I had called the property manager prior due to my displeasure with my entire experience (sprayed 4x's for roaches AND set up traps...STILL have roaches) Water heater broke first week here, no hot water for four days; cleaning crew prior to move in flushed paper-towel down the toilet, clogging it for two days until someone could come out and snake it; the washing machine stained my down comforter the first use...a rust color; I brought it in to the office immediately and was given no apology or attempt to offer to reimburse...I could go ON!...When property manager then called me this evening? She is telling me I WILL be penalized because the 30 day notice that "takes care of my lease dates"? Doesn't cut it. My apartment? Is not listed as being available so they aren't advertising it to get anyone in here...it's a JOKE.
The new front desk staff are absolutely terrible, lazy, and unprofessional in every way. If you need help with anything you might as well do it yourself because they're useless...The maintenance staff is great, however for the price you're paying you would expect some professional service by the people running this place. Save yourself some headaches and look elsewhere.
Relaxed and uncomplicated. The maintenance staff are awesome. The grounds and common areas are always clean and well maintained. The community staff are friendly, capable, and caring.
