Great place to live! It's a very nice area, grounds are well kept, safe and the people at the leasing office care about your needs.
Apartments are well equipped, maintained, and comfortable. The rent is reasonable and more than competitive. The maintenance crew is especially helpful.
Crystal Creek Apartments is certainly **NOT IDEAL** for the mature adult that works hard daily and prefers retreating home to peace, quiet, and comfort after working.
Firstly, the day I mistakenly moved in, the tenant above me played music carelessly loud until four in the morning in which I knocked on the door and informed him. I knew after that day it was a mistake to move here and that I had chosen to move into the wrong community. Unfortunately for me, every day after this has been an apartment nightmare (my disregard of reviews only to become stuck in a bad lease - **Don't make this mistake by choosing Crystal Creek Apartments**)
Secondly: After informing the office countless times of these daily disturbances, to date, nothing has happened other than the office responding with "Well, the tenants lease is up in a couple of months" (in my interpretation that means deal with it until then.) That makes me feel as if these apartments do not actually care about you spending your hard earned money for a nice, peaceful place to reside. I have certainly learned that any apartments within this area would suffice better in infinite ways than Crystal Creek Apts..
**Do not make the mistake I made by moving here**
Thirdly: It's actually bad that I reached "thirdly". These apartments are marketed as "Luxury". That is untrue from my experience living here for only three months. After assessing my apartment, I found unevenly cut wood on cabinets and sinks which makes it look less than luxury. The ceilings are probably as low as possible that's allowed by law and very thinly layered popcorn ceilings that allow noise levels to reach their peaks. I also found one out of two toilets and sinks do not work properly. They stink like bad plumbing and the water pressure is less than standard.
Also, the microwave is incredibly loud and literally broken (pieces that fall off after opening and/or closing the microwave door).
A little overpriced but a nice simple property. The best part is the location near all the shopping but I guess that is why its overpriced.
The office staff are completely rude and unprofessional. They rarely answer the phone or reply to emails. When I try to go in person, a lot of times they have closed the office 10-20 minutes early on weeknights, where I have several times tried to get to them as soon as I got home from work. When they are there on weekends, and not out on extended lunch breaks (3 office workers, you'd think they could stagger those breaks) the help I get is frustrating. The new front desk guy doesn't seem to know much, and the other two ladies are always "off" or "out." I have placed maintenance requests and told that they would "put it in" only to check back a few days (after seeing the problem not fixed) and they would have to "put it in" again. Takes weeks to get the maintenance guys in (though to be fair, the maintenance guys are great. Once they get in, stuff gets fixed. Just takes forever for the front office to get the message to them). The manager speaks in a patronizing, condescending tone. I'm glad they set up the new online rent pay system so I wouldn't have to try to go in there anymore. Besides the mediocre amenities and the loud, inconsiderate neighbors, the office staff really made my stay here one I will not regret.
