They'll not just overcharge you for fees but will defraud you by taking money out of your account. My December rent/fees ended up being almost $150 more than I signed on for.
The management at this place never responds to complaints in a timely fashion. They all tell you a different story and are never consistent in what the message is. The water bill monthly keeps going up and is more for myself in a studio apartment, than my friend pays in a 3 bedroom house here in Arizona. The electric bill is $170 a month in the summer since both the AC unit and Stove are original from when the place was first built. I've had many leaks, mold issues, and bug issues that NEVER get completely resolved. The new management company is ridiculous and unprofessional. I've tried to contact corporate and they keep saying someone will follow up, but that never happens either. I happen to have my master's degree in business and only lived here because it was myself and have a simple life. I'd never recommend this to anyone looking in the Phoenix area for an apartment. You also get to hear police helicopters circling the area almost on a nightly basis and never know when they'll just turn the water off. Starting in December, you will also be charged for the common area electrical and water. What a joke.... Just my two sense on this place.
New name because of so many issues. Used to be called Maya Linda. I visit my sister here recently, shes so frustrated with the pest, water/plumbing issues, homeless people and so on. I thought she was over reacting until I made a visit. The biggest issue is the roaches..German roaches. Not just one or two but hundreds. Every where even crawling on her bed. Falling from the ceiling. They claimed to have treated them a few months ago, so we don't know if they are coming from another apartment or what? But it's ridiculous. I didn't want to take my shoes off or put my book bag down. It's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. And I know it's a health problem. Don't move looks ok at first but within a few months you'll be stuck living with roaches you can't get rid of. They even get in her purse and one came out when she was at work. She's clean too. It's horrible! Don't move there! The good reviews are from employees. What a shame that they leave good reviews when they know what a mess this place is. I'm sure they have roaches in the office too. Yuck!
