What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Oro Valley

It's quiet and well maintained. Also the general area is safe. There's not a lot of things to do but it works.

i like the warm climate especially in the winter. i like the access to parks and open spaces and i like the fact that there are many quality small businesses to support.

There's a mountain view from pretty much anywhere in our neighborhood. Shopping mall with large Wal-mart for all your shopping needs nearby. Other suburban chains close enough to visit when the need arises but not so many choices to make decisions difficult.

My town was voted "safest town to live in the state". It is very kid friendly with A-rated schools. I love the local parks and hiking in this great community.

I like that it has a lower cost. I also like that it is closer to store and other things. There is a ton of fast food place near by.

The location is unique. We ave restaurants and stores nearby. Easy access to freeways. Location location location.

Living in Oro Valley, AZ

Located just six miles outside of nearby Tucson, where the Santa Cruz River meets Gold Creek in the Catalina Mountains, those in apartments around the Oro Valley area have seen a rapidly growing town that is the focus of a number of emerging job opportunities.

Oro Valley was recently named as one of the technological centers in Southern Arizona, creating a great deal of employment opportunities for those in local apartments. Among major employers in the city, according to the state Commerce Department, include Honeywell, Securaplane and Vanguard Automation. The Sheraton El Conquistador, also located in town, is also the source of a number of local jobs.

Oro Valley also has a number of opportunities for those in local apartments looking to get outside and enjoy a closer connection with nature. Located just east of the city is Catalina State Park, a sprawling green area filled with mountains covered with spire-like pine trees.

In addition to the offerings found in the state park, the area also has a great deal located right inside the city limits. The state government says that Oro Valley features a number of athletic fields, racquetball counts and an Olympic-sized swimming pool - which can come in handy in a town where average temperatures each summer top 102 degrees. Oro Valley also has a pair of country clubs for Oro Valley apartment renters looking to fine-tune their swings.
