Management is great and responds to my problems quickly. They know me by name and make me feel welcome. Maintenance responds quickly and is friendly. I trust San Montero and love living here.
I love my apartment! The complex is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff in the office are never anything but nice to my husband and I. They put together resident events for everyone to get to know their neighbors all the time. And they put a lot of effort into them as well. Which I feel shows they care about their residents being happy living here. There have been no issues with bugs, noise, crime, or anything else I would normally worry about moving into an apartment.
To complicated don't like it
Where do I even begin! For starters, I have lived here for 4 years and have never been so unhappy living here until new management (Debbie) has taken over. Since taking over she has closed the pool in the middle of summer (June 1st), has hired security to sit in the pool area and baby sit adults, forcing them to sniff your drinks to ensure there's no alcohol in them, has taken out the free weights in the gym (claiming they're a liability), refuses to pay out a second referral bonus that I was owed (saying I was lucky I even got one).... let's see what else? She hasn't gotten any of the grills fixed throughout the complex, or the internet in the office for you to be able to use their computer... the club house has been being "remodeled" for the last 18 months....
Even after all this, my husband and I decided to renew our lease once last time because we just had a child and wanted to be able to save as much money as possible one last year before buying a house. I received my letter for renewal and went to the office to give notice... she told me she would type up the lease agreement and have us come by the next day to sign it.
The next day I get a phone call saying that their records show that I have 3 people living in my 1 bedroom apt and am only allowed 2...
HE IS A NEW BORN BABY! Debbie didn't care what so ever and sent her little messengers out to come and give me notice, saying I either need to be out in 30 days or upgrade to a 2 bedroom.
After 4 years of being a great tenant, never being late on payments and referring multiple family members who've moved from Illinois to the complex ... this is what I get.
Vacancy rates are about to go through the roof, because everyone I know still living in this place aren't renewing their leases, so long as Debbie stays in charge... maybe then the owners will finally do something about her.
Staff is awesome, professional, courteous, hard working in all areas! Very comfortable surroundings! We highly recommend to friends and acquaintances.
