In the beginning were great incentives, fair price of rent for a 2-BR, helpful staff willing to take care of issues we found with the apartment. Then, the rent kept going up, the water, sewer, trash bill constantly rose and stayed close to $100/month, we had to take a shower for almost a week in another apartment because our water heater was broken. Most of the issues from the move-in checklist were completed except one that never got resolved in the two years we lived there--a hole in the floor of the bedroom closet. We winked an eye to things that were not completely fixed or properly cleaned when we moved in like in and under the refrigerator, stove, cabinets, and ceiling light fixtures. We were exemplary tenants: paid the rent on time, never complained, good neighbors, kept the apartment clean and damage-free. So when it came time to move out, we cleaned and left the apartment better than it was when we moved in. We went over the lease requirements with Lori, the manager, and she said that the carpet was to be cleaned and a receipt was required. We did everything according to their request and the lease. We waited for a refund, an expectation of a few dollars after the water, sewer, and trash bill was deducted. Well, they ended up charging $50 for a professional to clean the apartment which we could not understand because no professional cleaning went on when we moved in. Now we owe $20 over the deposit amount. We called the office and questioned the cleaning fee but they would not listen to reason and stuck to we owing them or they send what we owe them to collections, which is what they eventually did.
So far, so good. I will update though. Leasing office is very very helpful. They got a lot of services available and top security. Im happy (:
Awesome , it looks clean, quite area
Been here 6 years too long!!! This place is a dump 1980's appliances cabinets etc. Never got new carpeting before I moved in as promised!!! Office staff OMG! Enough said about them!!! Noisy neighbors grounds are a disgrace and for the amount they charge for rent on a 30yr old apartment is CRIMINAL!!!!! Don't walk RUN in the other direction if you think you might want to live here!!!
The late fees are astronomical. I should not have to pay an extra $150 when I am 2 days late. Crazy! Also, the buildings are not marked well. I have transportation for disabled pick me up 5 or 6 times a week and they have a terrible time finding my apartment because the Building Numbers are camouflaged to look like the building. The numbers should be easily visible and they are NOT.
