What Renters Like and Dislike

What Renters Like and Dislike About Guadalupe

Very safe and family oriented. I love scudder park. Steve's espresso has amazing coffee and is a great place to hang out. Bogies is the sun local hang out. Eggroll express has amazing food at a good price. Dutch Bros right down the street is a huge plus.

I like going to the park in my apartments it's nice and I love going to the mall with my cousins or my mom and just walk around and do things they have a lot of stuff in my area that I yet to explore so that's that

Close to the airport but no airport noise so wonderful for business travel. Grocery stores close and movie theater across the road.

My neighborhood is very quiet. My favorite local businesses. would be Se?or Taco and Amados. My family loves going to Amados

There is a well lit, safe pool and park area on the grounds. The landscaping is beautiful and well maintained. It is very quiet and everyone greets each other with a smile and a friendly greeting. Several of us go to a nice cafe and bar just a few blocks away.

I like that my neighborhood is close to walk to grocery stores and to department stores. Plenty of restaurants close by.

All About

Living in Guadalupe, AZ

The town of Guadalupe is a community of approximately 5,500 residents and is located between Phoenix and Tempe at the base of South Mountain. Apartment hunters looking to actively participate in a community that values culture will find Guadalupe to be an ideal place to live.

Originally founded by the Yaqui Indians and named after the patron saint of Mexico, the Virgin of Guadalupe, the community is very culture-oriented and prides itself on a number of exciting traditions and festivals that take place throughout the year.

Apartment renters in Guadalupe will cherish the opportunity to witness some of the most culturally-rich festivals in the area, especially during the Lent and Easter seasons in early Spring. In these ceremonies, the Yaqui Indians, called the Yoeme, participate in a procession every Friday night during the Lent season.

The ceremonies, which originated in the early 1600's in Mexico before the Native Americans migrated to Guadalupe, include deer and pascola dances and songs which have been passed down through generations by trained instructors. Guadalupe apartment renters can enjoy the festivals, which showcase these dances as well as instruments, masks and costumes which are all important aspects of the Yaqui culture.

While many of these events are open to the public, apartment renters in the Guadalupe community must experience everything the festivals have to offer first-hand, as the Yaquis do not allow photographs during the ceremonies.
