This place goes not even deserve a star. I was told the apartment was totally renovated and cleaned. The place was filthy and only cosmetic renovations. Leaking faucet and water in the water tanks had a constant run. Washer and dryers were filthy and not working. The patio and entryway are stained and filthy. The outside common areas are filthy with the outside grilling areas and stairways being a health issue. Other residents voiced having complained but nothing is being done. Present employees voiced a lot of the workers were fired with the place no longer being kept up due to the present owner. I would definitely not recommend this place.
The parking issue is huge. They (by their own admission) do NOT have enough parking spots for all apartments. How do they mitigate this problem? They "offer" paid spots you can purchase for $50-75 a month. Problem with that is they ALSO run out of paid spots as well, so offer the more expensive garages. Then tow you if you don't have a spot because they literally don't have even any parking on the street or anywhere near that allows for overnight parking so your only option is to know you'll get towed. Trying to recoup any money for that is a lesson in futility. It's pretty absurd all together. Also the office staff (depending on who) can be generally unhelpful both because they are clueless or just willfully ignorant. Other than that the apts are beautiful, and they are fairly fast at repairs (though a/c brakes often in many apts)
The front office staff is always extremely welcoming and helpful. Maintenance staff always does a phenomenal job on fixing anything needed and in such a quick manner.
I had some great times with my new neighbors, the apartment was in pristine condition and a joy to live in, the office was always prompt and easy to work with, great location, and the amenities were one of the greatest perks. I would choose Pillar again in a heartbeat.
They are always on top of things. And they make sure you feel just as important as the next person.
