What Renters Like and Dislike About Flagstaff

We have good parks for walking. We have some good restaurants and coffee shops. The neighborhood is very centrally located within the city.

I love how quiet it is. I like having store's nearby. The people in this neighborhood are all very nice and helpful.

My neighborhood is great as there is like about 4 grocery stores literally within a 20 block radius plus a lot of good little restaurants then you could eat with your friends and there's some good pubs to go to locally

The security is top notch. The restaurants are some of the best in the world. The bars have the best wine, and my family loves the pizza hut

Year-round mild weather entices Flagstaff apartment residents to go for hikes and daytrips. Head north for a trek through mountain meadowlands and spend a day among the area's rich display of wildflowers. For the more adventurous, gear up for the hike of a lifetime as you summit the rugged 12,000-foot, pine-studded Humphrey's Peak for a majestic view of the valley, including the Grand Canyon. Jog east from downtown to Walnut Canyon National Monument. This high desert locale offers trails, cliff dwellings and 600-year-old handprints.

Not into golf? Try throwing a Frisbee instead. Residents of Flagstaff apartments have their choice of three 18-hole disc golf courses. Or Lace up your sneakers and hit the road with the city's annual summer running series. The five-run event culminates in a half marathon. You can also head over to the Snowbowl for winter skiing or a scenic summer skyride.

Thanks to Northern Arizona University, residents of Flagstaff apartments also enjoy wildlife closer to home. In fact, the city has more than 200 bars and restaurants. Enjoy a pint at Charley's Pub. Located in the historic Weatherford Hotel, Charley's features 20 imported beers on tap and is a favorite haunt of students and musicians alike, with its regular venue of live bands. For dinner, savor the fruits of the sea at Pasto's and in the morning, relish an espresso or recover from the night before with breakfast at Macy's European Coffee House & Bakery.

Flagstaff apartment residents regularly descend on Heritage Square, a local gathering spot in the heart of downtown, for concerts, shows and outdoor movies. And small wonder, given the city's symphony, community theater performances and vibrant arts scene. You'll also get your kicks on Route 66. For a blast from the past, visit the kitschy Museum Club, an historic roadhouse and dance club.
