Parcland is a nice community. The office staff are all very pleasant to interact with.
The location is prime. Very close to the 202 and not too far from multiple gas stations and grocery stores.
The Maintenance team are prompt with their responses. My only feedback on them is they're not always proactive. Some items that should be obvious do require a work order to be put in.
Landscaping is solid however, however the walkways breezeways could use more power washing. The residents however, don't do a great job with picking up after their animals.
The fitness center, pool and the club house are all really nice.
Some of the tenants are inconsiderate. Just like at every other community, however this community has a few individuals who enjoy their loud Harley's...to each is own, not all of them are bad. However, there is one individual there who is excessively loud, he blares his music out loud and revs his bike for minutes before leaving the community. He has a garage that fits his bike but will often park in open parking taking up spots when parking is already scare.
My biggest complaint is the parking is terrible. One side of the complex has an abundance of parking and the other side seriously lacks spots. If you arrive after 5pm good luck finding a spot. It hasn't always been like this but the last 2 years have been pretty rough.
Because my rent has gone up every year but the company has not been adding any new things. Trash price should be done away with and why are we being charged twice for trash?

I rented with Parcland for 5 years. The staff were very nice, grounds upkept decently and quick maintenance service. However? Upon moving out after being in the same unit for years I was sent a notice that I owed 400$ for carpet cleaning and ozone treatments for smoke when I've never smoked a day in my life or had anyone in my apartment who did. When I questioned them on this they ended up saying they would drop the smoke treatments but I still owed $200 for carpet repair and cleaning I don't mind paying for damages but there were none and the apartment had been professionally cleaned before I vacated. I rented with Mark Taylor prior to Parcland and was charged nothing upon move out. I rent because I travel a lot for work and am not home frequently. There should be more of an incentive to keep long term renters by not raising their rent each and every year and nickel and dime charging after leaving. To me there is no reason to keep renting and I will be purchasing a home after my lease this year is up.
