From the moment you step onto the lush, perfectly manicured grounds of Almeria, you instantly begin to feel the stress of the day evaporate. The sparkling pool and healing spa beckons to you for an evening swim or, maybe tonight, you will head to the state-of-the-art fitness center for a short workout. As you stroll down the tranquil pathway and open the door to your new home, you suddenly realize - you are living the luxurious lifestyle you would only dream of...
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY (Which you won't get back!)
Almeria is a beautiful property, but... People should be aware of a few things:
1. If you have a criminal history at all, don't let them make you think it might prevent you from getting accepted. They'll keep your application fee and they will take forever to return your refundable deposit. Believe me, I'm all FOR keeping dangerous individuals out of my neighborhood, but my crime was non dangerous, non violent, non drug related and took place a decade ago. My credit score is in the 700's and I've never been evicted.
2. We were constantly given misinformation and never given an apology for the incompetence of the staff, management included. We were told we would receive a refund in the amount of $228.51 if our application was not accepted. And we were told it would take 7-14 business days. I have an email stating this from the sales staff. Later, I would be told the refund would take 21-30 business days and when we finally received it, it was $50.90 short. The assistant manager would later say that the salesperson was misinformed and there was nothing she could do about. There's more, but just suffice it to say that these folks are unprofessional and unethical in my opinion.
At the end of the day, I suppose I have to be grateful because I can only imagine how badly they would rip us off when it came time to move out. Steer clear. As I said, a beautiful property, just shady business. :(
You do not want my experience shared for marketing purposes. The only thing you got going for you is pretty grounds. The rest is just lipstick on a pig!
Almeria is our home...not just an apartment community...our home! It was our first choice, and we could not be more pleased!
I recently moved in to Almeria at Ocotillo a week. The process of applying and moving it was seamless and easy. Jordyn Summers was very nice, professional, knowledgeable and patient!! The amenities at Almeria are great..the pool area, gym, movie theater, etc. The complex is also very dog friendly which I love as I'm a dog person myself. The dog park and salon are added perks.
The management team is top notch. The activities are well planned. Our apartment is very quiet
