Four Seasons Apartments

I lived here for over a year. It was okay for the most part, relatively quiet (other than being next to an Air Force base) and the neighbors were good. When I moved out in the middle of Oct., I had been paying month to month rent because I was planning on moving and did not have a date set when the lease ended. I gave notice and was told I could move out in the middle of October and only be charge until the move out date. I had 1 800 Got Junk schedule for the afternoon of Oct. 10, my flight was early that morning. When I called 1 800 Got Junk to get a quote on removing everything, they said they were starting early. The property management office had asked them to start in the morning instead of the afternoon. My brothers were stopping by late morning to remove some furniture and large items, but even without that 1 800 Got Junk quoted $900 over the phone. When I checked the balance on Nov 1 it showed over $1400. Weidner says 1 800 Got Junk charged over $1200, and I only had $1000 on the security deposit. Weidner also is charging for the rest of October. I spoke with someone over the phone and they said even though the lease ended on Oct. 15 and I moved out on Oct. 10, their rental contract allows them to charge for the rest of October. I recommend avoiding all Weidner properties, especially this one.

Pros: the interior of the trailer is modern; one of the best looking apartments you can get for rent price; staff is nice; plenty of parking space for guests. Cons: see-through vent above each bedroom door (you can peak into bedroom and hear everything going on in there and vise-versa if you're in the bedroom); heater is insanely loud (you can't hold phone conversations unless you go into a bathroom or step outside); cheap materials used for construction (ALL door railings have to be trimmed every summer because the material expands and won't allow the doors to close); maintenance is unreliable (I notified them of a problem, and they came 3 months later, only to not fix the problem and just fiddle around and take things apart, so I left them a message again that it wasn't done and with no response they came by about 2 months later, still wasn't done, so I just gave up on it and didn't call back, then they came back to my unit another 2 months later without telling me and without me calling them and finished it... they're supposed to give you a 24 hour notice before coming into your apartment for non-serious situations like that); staff is horrible at enforcing their own rules (no parking in the street rule is supposedly on a strict 3-strikes-and-you're-evicted type of enforcement according to flyers that the staff gave out door to door, but my neighbor has had his broken-down car sitting on the street for about 4 months now... not a peep from staff).
