We have had very positive experiences with Crimson Living. You are able to get help at any time from the office staff. I love living at Crimson.
WARNING: DO NOT LET YOUR DD or DS move into Crimson Student Living. I rarely write negative reviews, but I need to warn all parents with DS or DD currently living in CSL or thinking about moving into Crimson Student Living (also called The Crimson). Make sure that you write down every little scratch, hole, paint stain, broken/scratched appliance, broken window treatment, broken towel rack, etc. This apartment management will do their very best to over charge you when it is time to move out. My DD moved out this past year and we spent hours cleaning her apartment to ensure that it was much cleaner when she moved out than the dirty apartment that she had moved into, just one year earlier. We removed all trash, thoroughly wiped all appliances, counter tops, and all cupboards inside and out. We vacuumed and dusted everywhere. We were warned about the checkout process so we specifically asked to have an office representative employee check out the apartment before we left town. We asked for an in person apartment walk through because we knew if there was any problems with my DD apartment, we could fix it before we left T-town. We had a front office employee walk through our apartment, I specifically pointed out the nail holes that I had covered with drywall patch and asked if their would be a problem leaving it as is. He stated that all rooms were painted upon move out, so as long as we patched all of the holes I wouldn't be charged. A month or so after we moved out, the Crimson Student Management proved him wrong. Apparently, another group of employees walk through the apartment after we checked out of the apartment, looking for anything that they could find to increase the Crimson Student Living's coffers. They charged us $125 to paint over the nail patches and found a piece of paper under the couch along with some dust on the air handler vent in the common room, charging each girl $23 ($69 total) to pick up the one piece of paper and wipe the air vent. #AvoidCSL
Poor management to resident complaints. My daughters apartment was flooded at 2 am from upstairs apartment leaving her without power in her bathroom and bedroom until wiring dries out. Managers response to her complaint was gee I like taking showers in the dark. Last year her a/c was broken for 2 weeks. I would not recommend this complex to anyone and wish we could get out of her lease.
This place is awesome! They have the best staff and tons of giveaways every month! I won a 55" TV and my friend won tickets to Coachella here! I definitely recommend this place, comes with awesome furniture.
When I moved into The Crimson in fall of 2017, I had my doubts and concerns about the complex based on some reviews that I saw. But I fell in love with the properties proximity to UA's campus and the security that it offers. The units themselves are great and I have had very little problems. The few problems that my roommate and I have had have been taken care of in a short period of time. I have resigned and looking forward to living here again next year!
