Very nice apartments with great amenities. Can't beat the location - close proximity to The University of Alabama. Improvements have been made in regards to the office staff and keeping the facilities cleaner.
You would think that a nice community as such would NOT allow political flags(trump 2020 make America great again) to hang over the balcony as you enter the property. This is an extreme nuisance and slightly offensive for people to view. Especially visitors that are lodging at hotel indigo. Very tacky. I'm sure the lease agreement has stipulations or rules to not allow this. I blame the property manager for allowing this . I would definitely not live here for that reason. Think about the what precedent this set for the residents of the community. Undivided community
Riverfront Village does not have good management as of the start of 2019. They are not good at any paperwork. When I filled out some of the leasing information they lost it. We also intentionally signed months before most others to get a top floor location, but instead of having a good system of chosing which room to stay in for new leasers, they have a first come first serve policy on a popular college midterm day. When I contacted them to ask them to create a better system for new leasers they rudely declined to take any suggestions. The apartment can get loud, especially with people above you with thin floors and ceilings or if you live in the building with a boxing gym on the first floor. They market that they have a university bus system but they have changed the system to run only a few hours a day and the bus does not run for 2 hours starting at 1 and ends its system at 5. It is not suitable for college student with any afternoon classes. If you plan to live here 2019-2020 there is a hidden $25 monthly fee for a parking pass to park on the property. I have kindly voice my opinion multiple times to the office to make some things better and they do not regard it. Dont live here expecting any good service. It does have nice rooms though.
The prices go up but the services get worse and worse since I've been here (3 years). The so-called shuttle is basically useless. The wait time is rediculous, the driver takes two 1-hour breaks so I'm stuck at campus waiting for the shuttle for 1 1.2 hours when my class ends. The shuttle ends at 4:30PM, so can't be used for night classes.
Yall dont live here. Inflexible staff, often times rude, disorganized front office, improper billing, rent is way to high for the type of service and amenities received. I promise you do not want to live here. Not to mention you will NOT get your security deposit back and they will charge you for things that were never damaged. HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!
