For what I pay, what am I getting that I use? At other complexes that I have lived at the do drawings, BBQ/Tacos days, and they had access to other things and organized events for certain month. Also, sometimes this complex forgets to tell me that they might be painting, or pressure washing something in an area where I park my car.
Best apartment complex I've lived in thus far. Management is wonderful and always incredibly easy to work with. Area is kept up with and always looks clean and mowed. In a great location that always feels safe. And a quick walk across the street will get you to a grocery store
This is a wonderful place to live! Also the office staff is very helpful and polite. Very quiet and family friendly!
The apartments themselves are very, very nice and spacious. They're quite possibly the quietist close quarter apartments I've ever lived in as well. Plenty of parking and garages available, too. It's an extremely friendly neighborhood and close to restaurants, gas stations, and even a Publix directly across the street. Everything on the property is well kept and the maintenance crew is fast acting. Jenni and Jennifer are undoubtedly the most reliable, helpful, understanding, friendly property managers you will ever come across at any apartment complex! I was bummed out having to leave, but if I ever find myself back in that area of Alabama, Maple Village will be my forever choice to reside. Thank you Maple Village and staff for a memorable stay in Alabama!
If you are a rational, intelligent person Pell City may not be for you. The residents of Pell City, for the most part, scare me for many reasons. The neighbors here aren't considerate when it comes to noise and are overall unpleasant people.
I will say the staff is ok only because i have the feeling they are understaffed.
I live in a first floor apartment. The apartment above me rattles like my upstairs neighbor is going to seriously come through the ceiling at any minute. He may be heavy footed or have no arches or something, but I really think he is just walking normally and, still, I have not been able to get used to it. When people come over it scares them every time. They always comment on it. It has been so bad that it alone has made me think about paying the ridiculous amount of money it takes to break this lease.
Almost all of the doors inside the apartment had some kind of problem when we first moved in.
I have had one faucet leak and one toilet leak.
I suspect they forgot to tell the servicemen about it because i had to go back after a couple weeks and tell them about the faucet again snd they acted like it was the first they had heard of it.
I've had problems with the microwave. Several of the light fixture coverings have just fallen off.
The carpet was not changed after the last residents because they do smell strongly of urine when you get close to them.
The walls are cheap and around the windows were damaged and repaired bad enough to where hanging curtains was extremely difficult and in one case the curtain will not stay up at all.
In Pell City your only tv and internet options are DirecTV and Century Link. I don't know if this is the case with other residents but the Wi-Fi has never been great-doesn't reach the bathrooms and struggles some in one of the bedrooms. Also, I have never been able to get good cell service in this general area and can't make calls.
I came because I loved the layout of the apartment, but that's about it.
