    College View Apartments have 21 units. There is 18 one bedroom units and 3 two bedroom units, located in two separate buildings. The 2 buildings are of totaly different design and floor plan. The units in the 1010 bld. feature hardwood floors and cathedral ceilings and all appliances (Stove, Ref., Dishwasher and Disposal), all accessing off of a common hallway. The units in the 1020 bld. have plush carpet and vinyl floors, built-in wall oven and built-in cook top along with a refrigerator. They have a split bath where the vanity can be separated from the toilet & tub while in use. They also have a small front porch on every unit. These units are above average in size for the area,(1Br / 575 sq ft) and (2 Br / 755 sq ft). These units are located across the street from the University, this makes them perfect for the student attending The University of Montevallo.

      This apartment complex is seriously horrible. I heard the horror stories and still, stupidly chose to give it a shot because of the location. I regret that a lot. The first week the bathroom ceiling was meant to be repaired, two MONTHS elapsed and my ceiling was still not fixed. Well, first week of classes they decide to begin- so I cant shower or anything, they also never came back to complete the job. I fixed it myself, they left my stuff covered in drywall and told me I couldn't shower all week when they never had any intention of coming back to complete the job. When it rains, it rains through the window. I'm serious, into my room. The "fix" was putting up duck tape on the inside of the window. You can't make this up. My fridge also leaks, they took everything out, dumped it on the floor and then straight up told me they couldn't fix it. There is a constant pool of water on my floor. My bathroom light fixture has broken like 8 times and they always leave the exposed wiring and such and take like 2 weeks to replace it, the last time the dude dropped a light bulb on the ground and left the glass there. Last week, water started coming through my bathroom ceiling, I contacted the landlord about it and was berated for the fact I sent a text about the ordeal. I could go on, but this would be like 4x as long as it is now. I had low expectations going in, i've lived in some serious dumps, but somehow this apartment dropped below my already extremely low standards. Shockingly awful.
