The Overlook

I wish that The Overlook would do more about the loud vehicle radios. Yesterday someone was blasting their radio so loud that someone called the police. After the police left the person blasted their radio from around 4 in the afternoon until after 8. I couldn't hear the olympics all day long. The lease says that if my home radio can be heard in another apartment it is too loud. Well if I can hear someone's vehicle radio in my apartment isn't that considered too loud? Then around 10pm someone was racing and doing donuts in the parking lot. When is The Overlook going to do something about this problem? I start college soon and I need a quiet place to study.

Not a safe place to live. Right now someone is doing donuts in front of the pool and smoking their tires. Yesterday someone was pacing outside the pool looking very agitated and angry. Last week I went to the pool and there were a bunch of drunk men. One had an ankle monitor on. I heard someone was attacked at the pool. Not a safe place to live at all.

Avoid at all cost. Security is lacking, complex does not deal with any of the problems that occur from flooding to black mold to tenants blasting loud music all hours of the day. There are certain tenants who think they own the pool and do whatever they want without repercussions. Other tenants stalk people who stand up to them and the complex doesn't do anything to stop their behavior. Owners allow their dogs to run off leash and I was attacked by a pit bull that wasn't leashed. If someone breaks the law the complex doesn't do anything about it, they are more concerned about their monthly checks than tenant's wellbeing. Other tenants smoke marijuana without punishment or arrest. They allow tenants with criminal records and home monitoring devices. My spouse and I are currently looking to rent somewhere else because they do not deal with quality of life problems, nor do they fix maintenance problems correctly. We had a leaking air conditioner unit and it took them 9 times and 6 years to fix it right, yet they complain that they don't have time to fix the problems. Find somewhere else to live, I am.

Customer service is TERRIBLE. If you have a problem they never know what is going on even after having your file right in front of them. Poor management. Not enough parking spaces. If you work late expect to never having a parking spot at your apartment once you come home. If they offer you any kind of deals make sure that the correct deal is applied to your rent for however long you are supposed to have it because they will change it and it will be your fault that it has been changed without any explanation.
