    Most units are old and in need of repair/ remodel, there are roaches that seem to never go away. However the location and staff are great and they're working on making the place better.

    I have lived at Brixworth for coming up on five months now. If you're considering - don't. No one ever in main office, maintenance slower than Christmas, decrepit water heaters, A/C units, and kitchen appliances, and will leave your house a wreck indefinitely should maintenance ever actually get around to you. To start, my appliances work so inefficiently (broken water heater, ancient A/C unit) that MY ELECTRICITY BILLS HAVE BEEN OVER $500 PER MONTH FOR A 1 BED 1 BATH since I moved in here. I can hardly imagine the problem magically appeared when I moved in, so I'm sure they just didn't bother to fix it when the last tenant escaped. I've also experienced their outright negligence in handling repairs on my unit. Currently my broken washer/dryer is in my kitchen blocking access to my pantry (no replacement W/D either), and has been for a week with no contact from property management despite me reaching out on multiple occasions. No need to wash clothes or eat in your own apartment, am I right? There are giant holes in my walls throughout my kitchen, bathroom, and closet due to unfinished maintenance on pipes to do with broken water heater. I wonder when rats and roaches will start to infest my house, since I have yet to see pest control here in 5 months (for which I pay a monthly fee, go figure) and it's beginning to get cold outside. Also, my old moldy water heater has been sitting outside my living room window for a week, and my neighbor has had a nasty old toilet in front of theirs for over a month at least. It's bizarre and disgusting. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, unless you really like filth. Hoping this review will help others and might get me a response from management about my construction-zone apartment.

    I have lived in 5 different apartment complexes in Huntsville, and I can easily say Brixworth is the absolute worst. The list of issues I have had at this place is so numerous that I cannot even begin to describe them all in this review. I am so thankful that we were able to move out before COVID started, or I truly think we would be dead. For your own health, safety, peace of mind DO NOT GET AN APARTMENT HERE. Pros: *Maintenance is okay at responding (as long as they dont mark your request as completed without doing it). I feel bad for the maintenance staff, it is like they are trying to put a Band-Aid on a gaping wound that is these decrepit buildings. *It is close to UAH. *They actually allowed us to break our lease (probably because they dont want to actually fix the issues in our apartment and would rather push it off on the next sucker that lives there.) *I now have good source material to write a really good horror novel based on this place. Cons: *Cheap property manager who does not care about resident health and safety *Lots of bug infestations (three different types of giant roaches, giant corpse flies, small black bugs come out of missing grout in shower constantly, ants) *Buildings are old, not well taken care of, and literally falling apart *High utility bills due to old buildings and holes in roof and ceiling *expensive rent with lots of hidden fees *water is shut off often *Lots of water leaks *MOLD and very poor air quality *poor air conditioning and heating units ( our air conditioner even caught fire) *The gate never actually functions *rotted walls *did I mention gaping hole in ceiling for a month? Overall, I would not recommend living here. Even if every problem had been fixed in a timely manner (it wasn't), the sheer volume of the issues is unacceptable and mind-boggling. Unless these buildings are torn down and rebuilt, or some actual time and money is put into fixing them properly, there is really no hope for this complex.
