Faulkner University, AL

Though its name has changed over time, for more than 60 years Montgomery, Alabama’s Faulkner University has been providing traditional and spiritual education to its students. The Great Books Honors College rewards some students with a curriculum based around the analysis of selected authors that range from Thomas Aquinas to Friedrich Nietzsche. Science-minded students benefit from the Linda Brooks Hall, which features biology, chemistry and physics labs, as well as a greenhouse. Finally, many law students spend much of their time in the mock courtroom at the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, before returning to relax at apartments in the area.
