Office and maintenance staff are extremely professional and kind
I've lived here for around three years and I really like it. The office and maintenance staff are wonderful to work with. The property is very beautiful and is kept up nicely. There is always plenty of parking and great places to walk my dog. I highly recommend this community to anyone!
I enjoyed my tour of the property. I was able to ask all the questions that I had.
We have only had problems since moving in. Air conditioner has broken twice in less than a month. Blinds broke in one of the bedrooms, from one side and are hanging. (It has been a week since we have requested them to be fixed, and they are still hanging there.) The upstairs neighbors air conditioner leaked down the walls into our bathroom and kitchen area. I reported it immediately and they came out and looked at it.. the on-call maintenance man said, "just don't touch the walls." About a week later I noticed a smell and so I started searching.. I cleaned out from under neath the bathroom vanity and there it is, black, green, and white mold. (I'm sure there is mold in the walls as well) I called them out to come and repair it, and whoever they sent (while i was at work) scrapped it off and painted over it. I quickly went to the office and reported this. The blonde lady in the office came with me to the apartment and opened the cabinet saw and smelled it for her self. It has been a week since the last time I went to the office and nothing has been done. I wouldn't recommend this apartment to anyone. It has been nothing but them saying they are going to do things with nothing being done.
In the one year I lived here, it took months to get a leaky window repaired and my power going out. The first month I moved in, my power would go out sporadically. I was told I had to contact Alabama power and the apartment to pick times they could both come out. It took me more than 6 weeks til my power was working. Then my window would leak and everytime it rained, it would rain in my apartment. My couch constantly had to be dried out. Lastly the noise from my neighbors above was terrible and in general sketchy people lived here. I once saw someone getting arrested in the building next to mine. Also one of my neighbors called the cops on his wife for domestic disturbance
