The Hub is AMAZING! I've lived many places and The Hub by far is the best. Incredible amenities, the maintenance is WONDERFUL, staff is so, so nice and always willing to help, and their buildings are renovated very nicely. Each time I have ever called maintenance, they've come within 30 minutes of my call and immediately fixed the problem. They have security who walks around at night & the 'noise' you'd expect from college parties on the weekends is almost nonexistent. They have ROTC trails to go walking and running on and also a nice fire pit that gave me an opportunity to meet some new residents while making s'mores! I highly recommend ANYONE to live here! I absolutely love it & things are really looking up in the future for The Hub!
I live at Auburn Crossing (attached to the Hub but owned separately) and all our mail/packages come to their office, so I deal with the staff from time to time. While the staff is cordial, the overall level of service is poor. The office is often closed at random times with no explanation, even though their website states that they should be open. This especially happens on weekends. All packages are stored inside the office, so if they are not open, there is no way to retrieve an important package. If you order things online often, I would not recommend living here.
I have been asked this quite often because people have heard horrible things about the hub. this past year the hub gave me a room without electricity and had me waiting 2 months to fix it. They were very unprofessional, the workers were rude, the maintenance workers did not clean up after themselves when they completely destroyed not only my room, but our living room. they always left our door WIDE OPEN. The manager would say things and not act upon them like when my roommate wouldnt pay the water bill, he said he would have a meeting with him and never did. And the situation im going through at the moment is that the prior employees did not tell me I had to pay to move from one room to the other in the same apartment, and that I had to take everything out and move back in on the 16th of august. all they told me was to let them know what room ill be switching to and they would put it in their system. no mention of me moving out or of me having to pay. Luckly the new manager is helping me through this as I dont even live in the state. Last year was horrible, hopefully things will change. The apartment yes is pretty, but you can hear everything your neighbor is saying or if someone is walking by you could hear their whole conversation.
It is nice for the price but I think the prices went up again. Management was replaced and improved with my time here. Maintenance is very good and quick to respond. I am a college student but an old soul at heart and it is a little too loud for me. I would have left sooner if not in a lease agreement.
It's generally a nice place to live. Not a lot of through traffic. A little slow and unorganized in regard to maintenance requests issues. The management and employees are friendly and helpful and always welcome with a warm smile.
